I started in the loft industry over 5 years ago as an insulation installer and progressed to managing 5 teams installing in hundreds of houses a week. During my time in the position I learnt the importance of loft insulation and the positive effects it can make towards energy saving and cost efficiency for our customers.
Around a year ago I had an opportunity to join a well established company fitting LoftZone raised loft boarding systems and during my time there installed many systems in a large variety of loft types. I learnt the importance of keeping stored items above the insulation and the negative effects of compressing the insulation.
During my time as an installer I noticed one main similarity, almost all of the lofts were used for storage, and after training and learning to fit loftzone store floor it became apparent just how important this system is in maintaining the efficiency of the installation.
After deciding to move from the Midlands to Devon to be closer to family I realised that there was a shortage of LoftZone installers in the South West and so Above And Beyond was born and will service the South West of England for all loft storage needs.
